Two hours west of Windhoek, beneath the great table-top Gamsberg Mountain, lies a vast wilderness of mountains, open plains and dry river valleys.
This is where we live, and where we welcome a small number of guests each year to experience Namibia as we know it — wild, unhurried and personal. Here, wildlife moves freely across an extensive conservancy and safaris are conducted at an unhurried pace, with an emphasis on exceptional hunting, conservation and the experience of the land itself.
Our safaris are built around exceptional hunting, beautiful country, abundant wildlife and more than six decades of experience in the African bush.
Guests stay with us at Gamsberg and become part of life here. Hunters, partners, children and non-hunting family members are all welcome. Days might include hunting, wildlife viewing, walking, visiting the rhino project or simply enjoying the extraordinary quiet of the Namibian landscape.

We host only one safari party at a time.
During your stay, Gamsberg Lodge and the hunting area are exclusively yours — whether you travel alone, with friends, or bring your family along for the adventure.
Meals are shared around our table, evenings are spent on the verandah overlooking the Gamsberg, and before long it tends to feel considerably less like a lodge and rather more like home.
Sign up to hear from us twice a year with news and special offers about Hunting Safaris in Namibia, Photographic Safaris in Namibia and more
